These rules exist to protect backers, campaign creators, and the people they raise funds for. By using Uddom, you agree to follow them.
Creators on Uddom must:
Provide true and accurate information about themselves and their project
Clearly explain how funds will be used
Use funds only for the stated purpose
Respect local laws and regulations in Bangladesh and in any other relevant countries
Communicate honestly with backers and share reasonable updates
If you cannot keep these commitments, you must not run a campaign on Uddom.
You may not use Uddom for campaigns that:
Involve illegal activities or violate any applicable law
Finance violence, hate, discrimination, or harassment
Promote terrorism, extremism, or money laundering
Sell or distribute weapons, illegal drugs, or restricted goods
Misuse personal stories, medical cases, or emergencies without consent
Intend to deceive backers about the use of funds, rewards, or returns
Offer investment terms that you do not have authority or legal right to offer
We may also reject campaigns that are very unclear, high risk, or not aligned with Uddom's values.
Creators must:
Have permission to use the photos, videos, and content they upload
Protect the dignity and privacy of beneficiaries, especially in medical or emergency cases
Avoid using misleading graphics, edited documents, or fake testimonials
Uddom may, at its discretion:
Ask for more information or documents
Pause or remove campaigns that break these rules or raise serious concerns
Delay or block payouts while we review a campaign
Restrict access to the platform for creators who repeatedly violate policies
These rules will be updated over time as we learn, as risks change, and as regulations evolve. If you are unsure whether your campaign is allowed, please contact us at [email protected] before you launch.
We're here to help you understand what's allowed and how to run a successful, compliant campaign.
